Request to every online marketer – first define search engine marketing (SEM) correctly and then enter your nose into the business!

On search results pages, I often see, messages like..

“Search for SEO SEM services?..” or “We provide SEO and SEM services..” or “Specializes in SEO, SEM, PPC..” or “SEO SEM specialist in SERPs..” or “Get the best SEO SEM guide..” and many more

Completely confusing!

Difference between SEO and SEM

How any internet marketer could uses such ridiculous lines while promoting and advertising their site/agency?

{SEM (Search engine marketing)} › {SEO (Organic or non-paid form)} + {PPC (Paid form of advertising)}

SEO is a sub-set of SEM. Unconsciously; these two phrases are often used interchangeably since they’re closely related. However, SEO is distinctly different from SEM – they’re actually refers to two different practices and that’s the harsh reality!

Then what is search engine marketing (SEM)?

Search engine marketing (SEM) is basically a form of online marketing that consists of both SEO (optimization) and PPC (advertising) in order to promote any web entity.
